Long Lake Isanti "Non-Ice Fishing" Festival

There Will Not be Fishing, but There WILL BE FUN!

The ice on Long Lake is not stable enough for us to host the 23rd Annual Long Lake Ice Fishing Contest. The Minnesota DNR also determined the ice would not support our event.

So, what do we do?  –  Host a Non-Ice Fishing Festival!!!

Come one! Come all! The Long Lake Isanti Non-Ice Fishing Festival will be held at Back to Captains on Saturday, January 28, 2023. Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. You can buy breakfast at Back to Captains, purchase raffle and lottery tickets, and visit vendors. Starting at 11:00 a.m., there will be door prizes, minnow races*, games for kids, card games, Speed Raffles, and so much more. You may also purchase lunch at the buffet set up at Back to Captains.

*Naming of minnows encouraged!

Please note that raffle award winners will be drawn at 3pm at Captain's. Need NOT be present to win for $10 raffle prizes.  

Family Fun: 

Master Bait & Hook will be available onsite with tackle & fishing supplies for sale, as well product demos for the kids.

Coffee and Hot Chocolate will be available on the ice courtesy of Wild Woods Waterpark, Wyndham Garden, as supply lasts.
